Just bought an older F935

Just bought an older F935 from a campground where I volunteer, had to replace the front PTO shaft bearing bolts that are welded to the frame, and several of the deck belt pulley bearings. I am finally getting to use the mower, but I would like to trade the 72" deck for a 60" inch deck in similarly good shape????? I am assuming the PTO gearbox on top of the deck is common to both decks???? thanks billy magg

Thank you Mark, and I hope I can be of some assistance to others, even if just sharing some of my "experiences", such as nearly running our new Scag Tigercat into the lake. That thing is actually decent on hills, but going downhill on a slant, brings out her "ugly" side LOL.

I have a 935F that I purchased used with a 72" deck and traded that deck for a 60" rear discharge. There were no issues in the swap. The Yanmar diesel in indestructible. Living proof is 3800 hours on the meter. Hope you have as good luck as I have had.

That sounds like a great swap, and I would love being able to get up close with-out a discharge chute on the side, thanks gopher, I'll keep my eyes open.... billy.
