I have a z425 with a 48in deck and a power flow bagger. For some reason after I mow, I notice little hairs of grass sticking up here and there. I've put new blades on, made sure deck and blower were clean, adjusted the front of deck down about 1/8 to 1/4 in, in the front and have tried adjusting it up the same amount. I have adjusted rpm up and cannot get rid of the hairs! Does anyone have an idea why this is or how I can get rid of this problem? Thanks

Try cutting at full throttle and a slower speed to see.

If I go very slow it seems to be a little better but still looks bad compared to my JD 737. As far as rpm, I run it wide open and even adjusted it up a little. Any other ideas? Thank you

Only that the front blade tip must be 3 - 6 mm (1/8 - 1/4 in.) lower than rear blade tip.

Thanks for your help. I will check the blade height tomorrow.
