john deere z-225 smells when i turn sharp

hey i have a john deere z-225, when i turn there is a burning smell. we thought it might be the belts so we looked at them and they seem fine, no obvious cracks or too much wear. theres no smoke and im at a loss as to what it could be. does anybody have any advice or suggestions?

It's gotta be the front tires rubbing against something. Perhaps the frame?
