HI Guys

I have a John deere x165 . Actually we have 2 . One is perfect .The other one has been to John deere South Africa and more than i can count lawn mower service people .

It loses intermittent power when engaging the deck . Sometimes it will run for two hours without a hitch . Then al of a sudden it starts losing power when belt is engaged

regards
Kobus

I'd say check the fuel filter and gas tank air vent. Sounds like something is pulling a bit of a vacuum on fuel delivery system.
