Looking for a used lawn tractor. Someone has a John Deere STX 38 black deck with only 100 hours on the meter. Apparently, it was a relatives and was rarely used. I think this model was made in 1994-1997. On sale in Massachusetts for $800. It's like new but 20 years old. Haven't tested it, but it looks like it's in mint condition. Is this a good deal, or something I should stay away from?

they are well built little machines although 800 is a little much.
