I currently own a John Deere LA145 Mower which is practically new only 120 hrs. I went to get on it today to start it up and mow and checked oil and fuel and everything looked good, but it wont turn over. The battery is not dead. I would like to check the Fuel Switch, and Safety Switch? Please let me know where those are located and if you have other ideas for me to check please let me know. Responses ASAP are appreciated as the lawn is getting out of control. Thanks in advance.

check fuses too. Locations of all these components are in your manual.

The only fuse I am aware of is located beside the battery, just under the starter solenoid. You can two safety switches that I am aware of that must be activated before the engine will crank. One is under the seat...you must be seated on the mower, and the other is on the brake pedal....it must be depressed. Make absolutely certain the PTO knob is not pulled out, as in the "engaged" position. The safety interlock system will not allow the engine to be cranked if the PTO is on.
