So a friend just gave me a John Deere l111 because he bought a new mower. It doesn't crank over but has power. The battery is good on it so to test the starter I used a jump wire from the battery to the starter. I got nothing on it. So I'm curious with this mower if that does work. I don't want to buy a new starter only to find out that isn't the issue.
