John Deere JE75 won't run

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a JE75? My mower won't start, and there's a green wire that's broken, but I can't tell where it's supposed to go. The harness got chewed up, and this wire comes down from behind the starter.

Here is a link for B & S engines hope it helpshttp://www.briggsandstratton.com/engines/support/frequently-asked-questions/Electrical schematic-wiring diagram You are going to have to cut copy and paste it , or type it in. Hope that helps good luck:licking:

This wire appears to be part of the ignition system. Possibly a feed from the magneto? A friend thinks it needs to be grounded, and I've tried with it clipped to the engine block, but didn't make any difference.

Ok, well it turns out the green wire is the positive from the magneto, to charge the battery. Wasn't needed to start and run the mower. The problem was the float in the carb was stuc, from when I turned it up on it's side to remove and sharpen the blade. The owner's manual says to always turn it on it's right side, which I did, but the float wasn't letting fuel through.
