I've had my john deere for a week and the mower belt has come off a number of times. Its just not tight enough and always slips off the front bogie wheel. It happens when the deck is disengaged after cutting. The lawn is short but it still comes off. Do i buy a shorter belt? I can't adjust this tension on the e130. It now has a couple small cuts in the belt. We got another from lowes but i assume it will also be too long. I've seen a lot of the same feedback for this mower. Any suggestions on how to tighten it up?

Get a sunbelt for 42" decks. If you always raise your deck to 4" when you disengage that will tighten your oem belt.
