Hi all. First time user. My John Deere F935 mower leaves a trail of grass about a foot from the side of mower away from the chute opening. (Left side facing forward) I cleaned the underside of the deck, blades are sharpened, grass is dry, grass is short, still it does it. The deck was welded a few years ago on the inside of the deck but this is the first year it has done it. I bought the mower used, 20 years ago and it is still running strong. It has the diesel engine and articulated front deck. We mow, have been mowing, approximately 18 acres with it. I recently checked to make sure the deck was level. Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Mark. No, that is one thing I did not do. When I get home tonight I will do that. Thank you very much for your response.

Are you using Gator type blades? If so, replace them with OEM style.
Is your deck chute down? If so, tie the deck chute back.
