John Deere 265 won't start

Have a 265 with 17hp Kawasaki that will only start on jumper cable. Replaced battery, twice, rebuilt starter no luck. Could it be the electric mower clutch dragging the voltage down?

Take a look at your first post...! you could unplug the electric clutch and see.

If it will start with jumper cables, you most likely have a battery or connector problem.
