My John Deere 214 won't throttle up. It starts and idles fine, but at about 3/4 of the way throttled up it starts to stall and then dies. I've already taken the carburetor apart, cleaned it up, and adjusted it according to the owner manual. I have also replaced the air filter and it still does it. Can someone please help?

Dirty fuel filter and it runs out of gas?

Make sure choke plate is opening all the way.

After reading up on it, i decided to clean the fuel strainer but found out that it had an inline fuel filter instead. So i replaced the filter with a new one. It accelerates a lot better than before, but is still a little rough and hesitant. I assume the more it runs it will come out of it. Thanx for the help

It's not usually the case. Poor running does not fix itself.
Check the carby bowl and clean, make sure air/fuel mixture
side is tight and set idle highspeed run jets.
