need some advice, recently picked up a JD 180,540 kawasaki engine for next to nothing and was trying to make it into a reasonable mower to use. It didn't need much to get it up to par but just some paint, new decals and a few small items.
I took it out for its first test to see how it would do... It was doing fine for about 10 minutes then it shut off, now it will start up and run for any where between 10 to 45 seconds then shut off again. I checked/cleaned the fuel pump, checked and cleaned the carb as well, New gas was put in the tank and I also checked the fuel lines to make sure everything was good to go. It still does the same thing. Im looking for any ideas??? I dont know what to do
