my 175 hydro transmission went out
it will not go into gear it will not engage
something has slipped out of gear
it is like a pin has broken or something
any suggestions will be very helpful
also best way to remove the body to work on the transmission
i am able to do any necessary repairs

Watch some YouTube videos on removing and repairing hydro transaxles. Take pictures before and during repair. Remove all the bolts and split the case and have a looksy inside. Maybe the problem with be apparent especially if the unit just suddenly stopped working and your drive belt is fine.

Did you have one of the rear wheels off? And leave the key out of the axle. Or I have seen the key work its way out if the washer is left off the axle at some time.
