Like Mark said you need to go down to the clutch and check for current and ground. There will be a plug with two wires in it, one will be the power feed and the other will be the ground. You will need a test light, put the clip end on the + or Positive on the Battery, unplug the wire connection down at the clutch and on the plug that goes up to the tractor not the one to the clutch see if one of the wires will light the test light . If it does then your ground is good and now you know the other wire is the power feed.If you can not light the test light with one of those wire then you will need to follow the wires back to find were one fastens to the frame and take out the bolt and sand and clean the connection. Go back to the plug your were testing and on the wire you found to be the power feed with the alligator clip on the test light and fasten it to the flat spade that you found to be the power feed. You will touch the point end to the - or Negative terminal on the battery , with key on and you in the seat turn on the PTO switch, it should light the test light , if not check the pto switch to see if any current is feeding it . Let us know what you find out up to this point .
