So the mower was parked after the last cutting session and the next try, "Click" no crank. It sounds like it is from the starter gear area. Hand on solenoid I feel nothing. I turned the flywheel over by hand and there was no change. So...I tried to take the engine cover off and when it came to the four turn knobs two came right out, and the other two just spun. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Rob.
Wow, Thanks StarTech. Appreciate the schematic. I grabbed the knobs for the screws with vice grips and pulled and turned at the same time and they came out. Now to the testing....
What is the difference between A LA130 and a L130 anyone know?

L130 is an older series than the LA series. It was very confusing looking up parts back in the day when they were newer because customers always confused the model numbers. Stats courtesy of tractordata.com
and if that's not confusing enough, in 2006 (right in the middle), good old Deere dropped the letters for a year and just called it a 135! I was doing at-home maintenances for our dealership at the time, and bringing the right parts was a major headache! We made EVERYONE give us the serial number before we went out because you couldnt trust any model numbers for a number of years there. So, the progression was L130, then 135, then LA130, then LA135. Oh,but the LA135 had a 42" deck! Those were the fun days.....
