JD L120 electric clutch

.Have JD L120 Mowe for about 20 min. and the electric clutch start shutting off Wait a few minutes at idle and can turn back on and afew minutes go off again put new voltage regulator on didnt help ENG is 20 hp V intek

Check the electric clutch resistance. If below 1.7 ohms it is probably partially shorted and draining more current than the charging system can keep up with.
