Hi all: I have a John Deere 425 with about 500hours that is an awesome mower. I have a 60inch deck and can mow a couple acres in few hours. Was running well but this weekend would not start. Last year I replaced the ignition delay module since it would stop running in the middle of mowing. But now, all I hear is the fuel pump, the correct dash lights come on but no cranking. I have bypassed the switch under the seat and made sure the brake was on and PTO off. The green light on the circuit board in front compartment comes on, the headlights come on, replace with new battery and still won't turn over. I was going to replace the ignition delay module again but not sure that will fix this. Would it be the starter or starter solenoid? Thanks for any help.

There are a couple to techs that hang out in the forum, but from what I read what you have posted, just my opinion
re-connect the seat switch, then I would consider unless you are too far from a JD dealership to take it to so they can diagnosis it.
If you are too far away, then I would order the starter, starter solenoid, and ignition delay module.
Replace one item at a time and try it, if it is one of the three you should get back to running again and have spare parts for the future, I know that option sucks but from what you have posted it sounds like it is in the starting function of the mower.
