Issues with CRZ Grass Catcher

I just picked up a slightly used CRZ (48" deck) with a side grass catcher. When I tried using the catcher the grass just blew through the small gap between the mower and catcher and covered me completely. Pretty unusable in my opinion. Anyone have the same issue? Think I need to make something to cover the gap.

I had one also. Pretty much a piece of junk. Love my mower but the grass catcher is a different story
