I have a Snapper Rear Engine Riding Mower, Model #3314518BVE 33 Inch. This mower has been a wonderful operating mower since 1993. Recently I have encountered problems with the operation, in that, the mower runs fine for approximately 1 hour then shuts down. When I disengage the blade the motor restarts. When I engage the blade the motor shuts down. I have readjusted the valves, put a new carburetor on, new fuel filter, new solenoid and replaced one wire that had corroded. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong or suggestions? If so, please send them to my email address joshrp@comporium.net
Don’t do emails, but from what you say my guess would be you have a problem with a safety switch or switches. Need to check that all are working properly, especially the seat safety.
