Installing 54" snow blade on Ariens GT17

I recently purchased a front blade (model 831004). It does not have a rear A frame that mounts to the back of the tractor. When I look up diagrams online, it appears to be complete. However, I do not have any way to get the blade to lift manually or hydraulically. Any insight on how this is done?

Usually there's a rod with a grip on it that runs from the operator to the plow. Looks like parts No. 2 "Ariens 03127500" on the 831004 parts diagram I'm looking at.
