Fourth of July is just over two weeks away and I'd like to ask you all to start thinking about what that day means to your life today (without getting political).
The virtues this country were founded on are alive in each of us as we choose to live our lives with integrity (again, let's not get political). So what does that mean for a community of homeowners and lawn care professionals? Well, the way I see it, the core and foundation of this country is based on respecting human value. So I pose this question: as a homeowner or lawn care professional, how can you show respect for the value of others?
Well, living in our own bubble of safety and comfort sure won't do it... So this month, we want to challenge you to step outside your comfort zone and start to reach out to others in any way you can think of. Mowing the neighbor's lawn, setting up a sprinkler system for an elderly woman, fixing some equipment, having a community barbeque, etc. There are so many things you can do to make a difference if you put your mind to it.
Last February, we talked about similar ideas in our Commit-To-Love-Challenge. This month, it's time to step out and do those things you committed to if you haven't already! Let's all become more aware of the "greater good" that lives in our day to day, seemingly insignificant tasks, yet is the key to keeping alive all the things we value and believe in.
I know many of you are great at serving your communities, so please tell us what you do to honor others in your community. Maybe we can get some good ideas from you...
Thanks!

By the way, did I mention I'm not inviting political discussion? Haha, okay good. Thank you for adhering to our Forum Rules.
