If it don't have normal idle speed adjustment screw then it must have the bendable tang.

Some kohler's idle fast because the linkage won't close the butterfly all the way. You have to loosen screws and move the entire linkage plate assy to adjust it.

I don't have any images of this but it should be at the end of the governed idle spring on the control assy. Basically you are adjusting the tension on the spring at idle.
