I just got myself back into Honda mower ownership. I bought a brilliant 2nd hand example of an HRD476C QXE.
I've had other Hondas before, like bigger. Love 'em!
Sorry, cos I'm new here, if this has been answered before.
Anyways, comes to adjusting the tickover air screw on the carb, as it is running nearly, but not quite right on tickover.
How the hell do you get to the air screw, or indeed the tickover throttle stop screw, on these GVC160 engines?
The air cleaner casing gets completely in the way of getting to the back of the carb, where the 2 screws are, to get screwdrivers in.
OK, so I thought, take off the engine recoil start and cover to get access. Then how would I start the engine to tune?
Seems to be a big fail on Honda's part, this design.

On one of my small Honda engines I used a 2 AA cell Maglite flashlight to see, and long screwdriver to get in there, on another one I pulled the air cleaner off. I don't know on your specific engine.
