im sorry but i looked for a spot for this. i thought for sure there would a place for pic id's but i didnt see anything.. ? please direct me if there is.
anyway can anyone tell me what i got here?
i live in central Florida, and this is a very common weed/ grassy weed around here.
it grows a little blue flower on it

From the pictures you have posted looks to be Buttonweed, (Virginia Buttonweed). Buttonweed generally has white flowers, but in some cases it can have from white to purplish flowers. Look up Buttonweed and see if that will help. Controlling buttonweed can be tricky, although there are many herbicides that will help aid the removal. If in fact what you have is Buttonweed you may want to try herbicides such as Manor, Monument, or a newer product that I would suggest known as Celsius. These herbicides are labeled to manage Buttonweed. Remember to always make sure that you positively identify the weed before applying a herbicide. My suggestion that it is Buttonweed is just a SUGGESTION biased solely on the pictures you have posted. You also need to identify the type of Turf grass you have before applying a herbicide, and remember to always read and follow all instructions on the label. Hope this helps out some.

is called wandering jew, where I come from.
Does that ring any bells, turfgrasspro?

You have a great suggestion. Not real familiar with spiderwort or sometimes called "wandering jew". Don't know if I have has any direct dealing with this species, but looks to be as if you may have identified it correctly.. I will have to do some research on this nasty plant. Where are you from perry?

is very hard to deal with. It can even invade lawns. But
it has at least one weak spot - when such is applicable.
It's palatable to hens and horses and possibly other
types of grazing animals/ground birds.
