I have done a quick search and most reccomend taking it to a repair shop. Not allowed in my budget so... I have the job figured out for the front 2/3rd (PTO/idler tensioner) now i need some help on how to get the new belt onto the transmission pump pulleys. I think the pulley and fan must be removed but I can't figure out how to remove them....hold in place while socket loosens the nut??? ANy help or step by step refereall would be appreciated.
Just to update you all: The local dealer put the belt on today ($80) anyway the repair tech told me i was on the right track just needed an impact wrench for the transmission pulleys. Actually if you can get one off the belt will spin into place with a little muscle. thanks to all who read the post I hope my experience will help the next guy. 80 buck poorer but a little smater as well!
