I Simplicity having problems with the floating deck

I have a 2013 Simplicity prestige 50” deck. The self floater for the deck. That’s what I think it’s called. The height of the grass being cut not the deck going up and down is not working. Hot wired the actuator and that’s working both ways
Getting voltage down to the actuator.
can anybody give me a clue on what to check for that.
