I've seen those type and usually the star center is stripped out and the spindle bolt star also stripped.
Also seen the air filter completely clogged.
Adds new meaning to the term "rode hard and put away wet"

They asked me to check their engine as to why it would not start.
Like whipping on a dead horse.
These type people usually also want a lifetime warranty once I touch their equipment.
I said I don't know. Take it too a pro shop.

Shameful

The guy picked up the mower today. I asked about its history. Said he bought it from a guy on a farm who was moving. 3YEARS AGO. Didn't do anything to it for 3 years and figured it might need an oil change by now so he brought it to my shop.

Hey I have had some that looked like that!
But I was pretty embarrassed about it and quickly put a set of new blades on.

I just was not aware and noticed that it was not cutting as good as it use to. Well there was a very good reason for that!

I like the ones that are installed upside down too.
