i've only mowed large lots before.
i swung by my house with the raptor and trailer, and decided to use the raptor to cut it. i normally push cut it with my honda. whole lot is 1/4 acre. lol.
the raptor cut the grass pretty nice, but oh boy does the grass shoot out too far with the oregon blades.
it took me longer to blow the clippings out of the landscape rocks, than to mow the yard.
That's what I found with my raptor SD and Gator blades..... I have a split ranch house with the windows along the ground Line...ouch. this year I moved up to a fast track which is a lot more gentle about blowing things out.... last night I was doing a little deck cleaning and blade sharpening and I looked up the part numbers on the blades and I was shocked to realize that the fast-track comes with high lift blades. I know the deck is a little deeper on the fast track but I am starting to wonder if maybe the restricted discharge chute on the raptor SD isn't kind of like putting your thumb on the end of a piece of garden hose.... possibly a bit of back pressure put's the clippings out further? ( at least to a certain degree..lol)
