Hydrostatic pedals sticking

I’ve found a small spring near my motor housing. During a drive belt replacement session. Now my hydrostatic pedals mainly the forward pedal is sticking when I drive my lxt1046vt. It’s becoming a safety hazard at this time. How or where do I turn. Local deal is not helping.

Also check the control area of the hydro gear 311-0510 for debris that can cause binding. Right side of transaxle as you sit on the mower.

So you found the spring and it wasn't attached? If so, yes, I would say that is the problem. There has to be a spring on there somewhere to allow the pedal to return to the neutral position when your foot is removed.
