My brother asked me to put on a mower drive belt and a hydrostatic drive belt on his cub cadet. No instructions in the owner's manual, said it was a job for the shop. I got the belts on no problem, but now at idle the mower wants to creep forward. Not sure what I need to adjust to stop the creep. Also, how do you adjust the brake on this riding mower? Model number is LTX-1040: 13WX90AS009: 4456910

Manuals do not tell me what to adjust if the tractor creeps. Could it be that the new belt is too tight or does the brake need to be tightened?

Brother says mower works great, all the belts are on correctly. Suggestions?
