Could the pump have lost oil and its low now ?
And I agree with Star Tech.
The area must be clean when working on a hydraulic pump.
Dirt and hydraulics don't mix.
Have rebuilt parts on Cat machines and know that.
I checked the oil and it is ok. The left side is ok also and it uses the same oil reservoir.

I would think it has an oil filter.
I so, cut it open and squeeze the element out.
What do you see the the pleats of the filter.
Here's a video on rebuilding a pump. Use it as a guild.

Here's one explaining the system.
Also if you're going to do this repair, clean the outside of the pump first before disassembly.
Clean is the key to this job.

I was trying it this morning and it seems like something is slipping like if the axle key was bad or something. I checked and the hub is tight. Forward and reverse does the same thing. It will go but like it jumping or something slipping.

I took care of the problem. I traded it for a brand new one today. Thanks everyone that helped me trying to figure out the problem.
