Hustler mower Kawasaki FD731V engine 26 hp

My battery light came on yesterday while I was mowing. I check all wire connections, cleaned battery terminals. Voltage reading on bat 12.66 volts with engine off. 12.33 volts with engine running. Appantly not charging battery. Voltage regulator??? Where is it located ,, How to fix?? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regulator is a small silver square on the side of the engine. Should have three wires coming off it. Disconnect and reconnect all wires, this resets it. If that doesn't up your volts, you need to look elsewhere.
