I only recommend non ethanol if you can get it in your area. Otherwise, use a mid-grade fuel from Shell or Exxon because it lasts longer if the machine sits. Avoid cheap budget fuel.
Mid grade is the least used at our pumps. Meaning it will have more water and be stale. Use 87 E-0 if you can get it. Look around when you fill your car what others are using.
Best octane is the lowest octane number your engine can run on without knocking. Read your manual.
