Hi all,
I have a hustler 4400 72" mower with a quadcycler deck. The thing is a monster, and it far outperforms what it seems it should be capable of with a 28.5 hp rating. I'm curious about the history of the model 4400, I thought it was introduced in the early-mid 90's, but I just saw a brochure with a picture of one dated 1981! It seems to be very heavily constructed, more so than more modern mowers. Do any of you guys know when they started making these, what sort of duty they generally were used for, etc?
