I just joined the forum and appreciate the information I have found. Thanks! I am looking for an owners or servce manual for my Hustler 3400 I recently purchased. I haven't got the diesel running yet but have ordered a new starter which I hope does the trick. It was turning over very slowly, I changed the battery and a nasty looking positive battery cable which did help but the starter I believe has seen its better day. Thanks again for any help.

I'm going to move your thread on over to the Hustler section to see if anyone over there knows about those manuals.
I put in the new starter and it fired immediately. Seems to run and cut great. I have emailed Hustler since my model is not listed in their manual section on their website. I got the parts list you provided. I am hoping they can provide the operator and general service manual downloads. Thanks for the replys.
