I purchased a Husqvarna yth2148 with a 21hp Briggs and Stratton engine on it.
The previous owner had taken the heads off. He didn't put anything back together. I have all the parts and I'm pretty sure that I have them mounted correctly with the exception of a bracket on the left side. The headlight cable is strapped to it and it has 2 mounting holes and a large hole on it. The bracket is L shaped. If anyone can show me a picture of this bracket mounted I would appreciate it. While your at it I would like to see pictures of the front and right side to be sure I have them right. The year is 0404. The model , type and code is 385777-0349-E1. Also on the back of the motor their is a similar bracket with a large hole in it. I think the throttle and choke cables have been replaced. Do the cables go through this hole?

What I believe you are describing is the lifting eye brackets for the engine. Normally one is positions next to the fuel pump, and the other one on the opposite side at the rear of the engine, on vertical engines, and next to the muffler on horizontal engines.

Yeah, sounds like the Engine Hoist Lift Brackets, personally never have used them yet, but maybe since I am getting old, maybe..

If they didn't go back on, it would not be a worry.
