The Kohler motor blew up so I swapped it with a briggs intek 23hp motor. Just got the kinks worked out and drove it around for the first time today. First time for hearing the motor run and first time driving the mower. The only problem im having is it boggs waaaay down when I engage the blades. It picks back up after a second but just a little. It just about shuts the mower off. Anyone ever done a swap and have this happen?

I think they recommend revving up to full throttle before engaging the blades then you can regulate back to slower speed after the governor kicks in

I had it full throttle when I turned the blades on. Ill do some more investigating and report back.
