For years the claim was Husqvarna garden tractors were just glorified lawn tractors because of wimpy frames. I just saw a Husky ad for a TS348XD claiming a sturdier 11 gauge bolted frame. Is this frame actually any stronger than the frame on my old XLSi ?

I would want to look at one to see what is the difference. Maybe they have just gone ahead & installed the " fix "[ brace ] that they have been selling to people with cracked frames??

It is still the same Tex frame from what I can see with a replaceable slope draw bar. Old ones were welded on which was a pain to remove when replacement was needed. This means we will still transaxle mounts breakage and the repair kits are still need to stocked. Same frame PN for the XLSi. This also means the frame is only slightly thicker than the 12 ga deck.
