All wheel drive craftsman (husqvarna)..... The blade adapter problems. Replaced it with correct part number, but when it's installed all the way in on the shaft, the pulley portion does not align with the three tension pulleys so that belt will be on the same plane. The belt would likely throw.
It looks to me that there should be a spacer between the shaft and the Adapter, but parts breakdown down not show this. The new adapter only has about a inch long Key built in to align with the key slot on the shaft. If i did use a spacer, there would not be enough key/slot engaged to keep it from breaking off (i've had two do that) am I ordering the wrong adapter? I looked up the part number in Sears direct and its the same part as the Husqvarna mower AWD models.
This is weird because the original adapter did not do this. I replaced because the owner had hit something with the blade and erased the blade retaining "flower" on the end of the blade adapter.
Am i going mad or what?
