Husqurvana YTH 2348 Will not start

New battery and solenoid has been installed. Still no action when key is turned. Shorting across starter solenoid will make the engine turn but that's all.

Just to get this started here is my 3 possible causes.
1. Ignition is broken.
2. Wires are lose or disconnected at ignition or starter.
3. One of the safety switches is broken or disconnected.

I would check the fuse first. If that's okay then test the voltage(dc) on the white wire that connects to solenoid while cranking.
