Husq YT42XLS or Cub RZTS42?

I have 1/3-1/2 acre of hillside mowing (corner lot at bottom end of a large hill), no fence, virtually no landscaping other than against the house (have plans to add some but not gonna go crazy or anything). Recently decided to speed up/ease the mowing process since all of the yard is seeded/fertilized/irrigated and is needing to be mowed 1-2 times a week. Local dealer less than 1 mile from my house carries both of these brands as well as a few others. Very friendly and informative but obviously doesn't mow my yard so I was hoping someone with more mowing and less sales experience could help in the decision. Dealer will let me test out machine on my yard, just don't really want to be trying 10 of them if I can help it. My biggest concern is that my house is basically sitting in a hillside so there is very little flat ground. I am not an expert at slope but my guess is vast majority of 20-30 degree slope and one small area that I have trouble even walking up and down (going to landscape that at some point). My own online research, budget, and talking to dealer led me to these two mowers but any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am looking at making a decision by next week.

chpserc,
I personally lean towards the YTH42XLS with the Kawasaki engine, fabricated deck and locking differential hydro tranny. Others, more familiar with the Cubs can point out the RZTS42. BTW, aren't you comparing a lawn tractor(Husqvarna) to a Zero Turn(Cub Cadet). That's a little difficult to give comparative advice for and actually a 20-30 degree slope would be kinda dangerous on a ZTR and not much safer on a lawn tractor. Also, that steep of slope would potentially tilt the engine on either in a manner that could oil starve it and cause damage. Have you told the dealer about the 20-30 degree slopes? What are you mowing with now?

Sorry about that, I am aware that they are two different kinds. I originally was under the impression that a zero-turn would do more harm to my beautiful grass than good because my inexperience using one would tear up the lawn before learning of the Cub and reviews that they actually do well on hills. I am currently mowing with a husqvarna 20inch self propelled with a briggs and stratton that bogs down and spits chunks of grass if it is damp or slightly tall so I put an emphasis on a mower that has power to cut also. The dealer is aware of the slope and recommended other options as well, I may be guessing high on the slope but my unexperienced opinion is that I can safely manage it. The dealer really is the person I want to deal with so my only restrictions would be price and brands that this dealer carries.

I am far from an expert but I have a ditch in my yard that has to be mowed that sounds like it is probably about the same slope as your yard. I wouldn't even consider a zero turn for doing an entire yard like that. Pretty much any rider is going to have a really hard time with it and you would most likely cause it a very early death. I would reccomend taking a look at some better walk behind models.

Do you have any reccomendations taking into consideration the hills and all? I guess I was trying to get the most bang for my buck when looking at mowers (ride and cut) rather than (walk and cut) so hopefully the walk behinds are more affordable?
