Mower wont move drive belt is tight fan is spinning. The small lever in the back to disengage to free wheel makes no difference where it is always free wheels. Its connected and moves the rod back and forth. Don't know where to go. belt

Rod at back should be pushed all the way in, Safety First- everyone out of way, remove deck, scotch front wheels, jack up backside of tractor carefully, crank it up & see if wheels turn. Let us know what you find, thanks. Post model & serial numbers from tractor data plate or sticker.

They spin very slowly and sometimes not at all. I can stop it with my hand

http://www.husqvarna.com/ddoc/husi/husi2011_naen/husi2011_naen_yth20k46_532446280r1.pdf check out pages 8 & 9 in this parts manual, with deck off, what kind of shape is drive belt & 3 idler pulleys in? you will need to remove idler pulleys to inspect bearings for being rough, dragging, etc. When replacing parts always use OEM parts. Let us know how it goes, thanks. how old is tractor, year?

Glad you got 'er rolling again- and agreed- thanks for the update! I don't know how many times I've looked at other forum posts and the OP never replies to say what the fix was! :confused2:

Happy mowing!
