hrx2172vkaa with bent crankshaft

I hit a solid object the other day while mowing and bent the crankshaft, woodruff key, and tweaked the flywheel. I got a new flywheel and key before discovering the bent crankshaft today. I am very handy with my tools and very mechanically inclined, ( I own a 94 wrangler and no one but me works on it ) so my question is how difficult is a crankshaft swap? Which manual should I get to help with the tear down or is there a good video out there? This has been a very good mower for the last 4-5 years and it still has life left in it. Thank you for your help.

Crank swap on the GCV190 engine requires the block to be split apart; here's the basic idea (engine shown inverted):

A factory shop manual is nice to have; Honda sells paper copies ($34.95) via Amazon and eBay (free shipping)

Bent cranks "can" be straightened, but it is art and could cost more than a good salvage unit. If you are a tinkerer you can experiment with a hydraulic press , dial indicator and V blocks.

Thank you robert@honda. Your book info helps as I wasn't sure which book to get. Looks pretty straight forward.
motoman I am going to get a new crank and call it good. I don't have access to a press and who's to say it
wouldn't break later anyway. Thank you for the help guys.
