HRR216VXA not self propelling

I have Honda HRR216 VXA mower that stopped self propelling. I replaced the belt and the transmission but no results. Any ideas as to what else I should check?

Did you check the pulleys to see if they are worn out? An excessively worn pulley will allow the belt to slip.

Also check the pinion gears in the rear wheels. If the ratcheting key isn't moving then it won't go anywhere either.

Probably a silly question, but what's the condition of the engagement cable? Stretched too far? Adjusted properly?
