HR214 - Desire to install new engine

I have an HR214 in great condition except for the stock gxv120 appears to be in need of new piston rings. Has anyone looked at putting a currently manufactured Honda engine on a HR214? I would be looking for a solution that doesn't require too much reconfiguration.

as long as the crankshaft is the correct length and diameter, another honda should bolt right up.
