I have a 14SE 4.5 Hp walk behind with a Kawasaki fc150v engine and a mikuni carb, I posted previously about this, and finally figured that part out, but now I am having trouble getting everything adjusted. From what I understand, to set the fast idle, you move the control plate. I am wondering because I noticed that when I finally got it to fire up in the fast position the engine wrapped up way out of control, but when I put it in slow it idled fine, first time in a long time for that. The choke will flood it, and always has.
So do I just need to adjust the fast idle with the plate, and how if someone could explain it to me. If not, could this be an issue with the governor?
