how do i stripe good?

my jd 345 does not like striping it doesnt do it i want to know why? please help!

Striping will be more noticeable with taller grass, thus you may be cutting your grass too short. If you can add a striping roller or some other device that will follow the terrain you will have more success. Some have had success with factory made striping rollers or DIY roller assemblies. Some have had success with pulling chains or mud flaps or brooms. Some say their particular brand of mower does very well without adding anything. Probably the consensus is a striping roller will give you the best results if properly attached and set at the correct HOC ( Height of Cut).
