Changing the Transmission Drive Belt
Several components must be removed and special tools used in
order to change the tractorç—´ transmission drive belt. See your
Cub Cadet dealer to have the transmission drive belt replaced.
You should still be able to get it off despite what the manual says.
I typically start at the front of a mower and work my way to the back to remove a drive belt. Do what it takes to get the belt off the engine pulley first. Belt guides and the pulley itself may need to be removed. Next clear the belt from any tension pulleys in the middle of the mower and end up pulling the belt off the transmission pulley. The battery tray and other belt guides may need to be removed to gain access to the transmission pulley. Good luck!!:thumbsup:
