How do I remove a broken hydro motor plastic breather tube fitting?

I have a broken plastic threaded piece that sits at the top of the Hydro Gear motor.....it connects to the breather tube. it is about a 1/2" MPT plug. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove?

Remove the hydro and use a wrench.
